How this site works
Mobility at Home Guide compares mobility equipment that is hard to compare on store pages: travel scooters and power chairs, off-pavement chairs, toilet lifts and walkers for tall people. A wrong number here can mean a lift that doesn't fit the bathroom or a scooter refused at the gate, so the checking matters more than the writing.
Checking
- Each product is read on the store page and on at least one more page, usually the maker's.
- Different numbers on two pages mean the number is left out and the page says so.
- Any figure that is the site's own arithmetic is marked that way.
- Summaries are written fresh, not copied from store descriptions. The sources page lists every page used.
Limits
The products haven't been used in hand for this site. Nothing here is medical advice; the questions page lists what to ask a doctor or therapist instead.
Money
No store pays for a ranking or a mention. Store links are ordinary links.
